{Uncovered - The Best Florida Scuba Dive Sites|Exposed - Amazing Florida Scuba Diving Sites|Secrets To - Stunning Florida Scuba Diving Sites

Plenty of scuba open water divers travel to Florida scuba diving due to the vast amount of dive sites found along the Florida coastline.
Florida has more coast line than any other state in the U.S. and with its southern location provides plenty of areas to scuba dive in clear and warm waters.
Take the Atlantic coast for instance. The Atlantic coast has some of the finest natural and artificial reefs along the length of its coastline starting with West Palm Beach up towards the north east down to Key West at the most southern point.
A fantastic event up and down this coast is the steady current of warm water which is The Gulf Stream. The Gulf Stream runs near to the shores heading north before veering out into the Atlantic.
This stream of warm water washes the reef systems off the coast and brings with it food that helps maintain the marine eco system on these reefs.
Many travelling to Florida scuba diving for the first time are surprised at the range and diversity of dive sites available.
West Palm Beach has a fantastic variety of diving sites with plenty of wrecks to explore such as the Shasha Boekanier which is just one of three ships making up one dive site known as Governor's River Walk Reef.
For trainee divers Florida scuba diving in West Palm Beach also has striking reefs such as Breakers Reef.
Travel south down the coast and you find Ft. Lauderdale. Known as "The Venice of America" this is a wonderful place to visit on any Florida scuba trip.
As you travel along the coast you recognize that locations like Ft. Laud have plenty of diversity when it comes to diving or snorkeling with well known destinations such as Tenneco Towers or Oil Platforms.
Only in Miami would you scuba dive to unearth Army Tanks!
Apart from all the cultural things you can do around Miami on your Florida scuba trip there is also a great array of diving sites that provide novice and experienced divers plenty of chance to have fun.
Any Florida scuba trip would not be complete without diving The Florida Keys.
For a long spell called "The Scuba Diving Capital of the World" Key Largo has one of the widest choices and variety of scuba dive sites in the world.
Key Largo is full of great shipwrecks with shipwrecks such as the Spiegel Grove, the USS Duane and USS Bibb. These are substantial shipwrecks with the Spiegel Grove only appropriate for very experienced divers and taking more than one dive due to its enormous size. Anyone taking a Florida scuba holiday and planning on visiting The Keys will be spoilt for choice and there is something for everyone whatever their skill level.
Molasses Reef is the place to visit if you love underwater photography. The shallow waters and first-class lighting makes this a dramatic reef on which to take macro photographs of the marine life.
Key Largo is the most excellent known by the Florida scuba community for its wide collection of diving sites but Key West is the place to go for the nightlife and culture if you do travel to The Keys.
Many scuba divers prefer the complete package, fun in the water and out, and Key West provides both. Great diving sites and streets full of entertainment means the place is bouncing in the night so you can enjoy yourself 24 hours a day..
So many areas and so little time and what's more we haven't even looked at The Gulf of Mexico on Florida's west coast. That we will do in an alternative article.

Detailed information can be found at this Florida scuba website or at this Florida scuba resource site.
