If not, you'll get a chance to find out this information once you come in contact with the company.
Looking over the list of companies you should have a good idea what type of work you may be interested in doing or may be you've had some experience with some of the jobs listed.
It would be a good idea to choose the type of work that you could probably finish fairly quick. And also, the type of job that uses less materials to produce it.
As I stated in the last paragraph, some of the listings may have the pay for the finished product but some may not.
So here's an example, lets say you're making napkin holders. The company will often pay for (units) of the finished product.
What I mean by units, is the bulk of the product. Some units consist of 50 products and some companies pay by 20 units, depending on the size of the product. But we are using napkin holders as the example here.
So we'll say 50 units of napkin holders. The pay should range from $75-$100 per unit. So if you make 3 units at 50 per unit that's 150 products. And you should get a paycheck anywhere from $225-$300.
Minus the cost for materials to produce the products.
There's a secret to contacting these companies. Using this technique can save you some stamps and envelope money.
You'll notice some of the companies have just mailing addresses, some have mailing addresses and phone numbers and some have urls to their website.
This is how you should start. There is no guarantee that all or even most of these companies are still in business. So the best way to get started is by contacting companies with urls and phone numbers.
This way you won't waste money. So contact these types of companies first and then send for their information.
The majority of your questions should be answered when you get the company package.
However, you should ask the company you're contacting;
1) How long have they been in business?
2) When will you get paid?
3) Do they send a sample of the finished product?
4) Will you have to pay for the materials?
5) Will you have to sell any of the products?
After contacting the companies, that you're interested in working with, you should be receiving their information package in the mail.
In this information package, there should be all the products that the company offers and the pay per unit that the company pays for the finished products.
You should also see the patterns and what materials you'll need to make the product(s).
This should give you a good idea of how much you'll need to spend. Usually, you'll have to purchase their package in order to get started.
The price of the package should range from $24-$34. Some of the companies will send a sample of the finished product and materials.
However, the majority of the time you'll have to purchase the materials yourself.
I hope I answered all your questions and I hope you learned enough. Now I'm going to go into the companies that you should be skeptical about.
I know you've probably heard all about the scams from these companies. And I'm going to tell you that you should be very careful.
If you contact some of these companies by phone or by email and you do not talk to a live person. Turn on your scam alert.
Alot of the companies may have phone numbers but you will only talk to an answering machine or voicemail. This is fine to leave your information. However, if you don't get any support contact info or you have problems getting in contact with a live person. I wouldn't try sending any money.
