If you have not visited the Algarve, you have not lived. If you have visited the Algarve, you know what I'm discussing about! This is certainly one destination you have to get to before you tie the knot, so what better destination to have a stag party weekend?
The Algarve has long been a favorite holiday destination for Brits, and there is no lack of reasons why. The sunshine, the beaches, the food, the women - is not that what a stag party is about, anyway? English is virtually the official language of the Algarve, so don't worry about brushing up on your Portuguese. In fact, you'll probably meet more Britons in Portugal than you'll the natives.
The town of Albufeira is the center of all the entertainment. it's on the sea, has beautiful beaches (i.e. Beautiful almost naked women), golf courses, and no shortage of bars and restaurants. You may be only travelling for a weekend, but you'll want to stay forever.
While in the Algarve, there is more to do than drink and observe the women. Take your boys on a thunderboat, or find out how to surf. There are more wet and wild watersports than you can ever get to in a weekend, not to forget yachting, jet skiing, or a Captain Hook cruise. Spend the afternoon at a waterpark, working on your tan, or go dolphin watching.
If you aren't quite the aquatic style, take in a day of paintball games or shoot at clay pigeons. The Algarve is recognised for its golf, too, so a day spent out on the links cannot be beat. There are a few extremely seaside golf courses to select from, so play more than 18 holes!
After a day in the sunshine, you'll no doubt be thirsty, hungry, and ready for some entertainment. And, that is where the Algarve actually pays off. There is no shortage of entertainment here! start with a classic Portuguese ceremony, or go down to a English pub for some hometown fare. Appreciate some great seafood and a great bottle of wine (or two) before you head out for the evening.
After that, maybe you might appreciate an evening's pub crawl followed by late evening night clubbing. A stag party in the Algarve wouldn't be complete without a great strip demonstrate, or at least a lap dance, and there are no shortage of those to go around.
If you dream of a stag party consisting of hot weather, beautiful beaches, great food, and riveting night-life, nowhere else but the Algarve will satisfy you. Appreciate your final days of freedom in this Portuguese hotspot and you may never want to leave.
