When you choose to use a treadmill, no matter what method you use, all that really matters is that you will burn calories. Running and jogging on a treadmill burns more calories faster, however you can achieve the same results with walking, however it will take a little longer and in the end, that is what really matters. In some cases, walking is recommended instead of running or jogging.

Part of the reward of exercising is being able to measure success. How much further can you walk? How much quicker can you get there? Do you set the treadmill on a steep incline now, compared to when you first started? A treadmill easily provides a way for you to monitor your success. And isnt that what its all about?
