When you think "stag weekend", you're probably planning to one of the larger English cities - London, Manchester, or Birmingham. A stag do in Wales doesn't readily come to mind. The Millennium Stadium of Cardiff is a must-see location for any fan of sport. Known as the national stadium of Wales, Millennium Stadium is the Welsh Rugby Union team's home stadium, as well as serving as a multi-use concert and sport venue.
But, what is there to do when the tourist spots are a bore? Well, what would a stag do be without a event of paintball or an afternoon of clay pigeon shooting? Cardiff is home to some of the most exciting kart racing in the United Kingdom - indoor, outdoor, endurance, or grand prix.
For the more adventurous stag weekends, an afternoon of abseiling, climbing, power kiting, or rage buggying might be right up your street. Maybe you wish to put a little more at risk by climbing on a quad bikes, flying down a dry ski slope, or trying your hand at either stunt or rally driving?
You can also make good utilise of the coastal waters by learning to sail, surf, or attempt out coasteering. If you're a little more calm, simply spend the day on the links. The golf in Cardiff is spectacular.
At evening, the coastal waters continue to be available to you - climb aboard a event boat to start your evening of entertainment. Cardiff enjoys casino gambling, unbelievable dance clubs, cuisine from a range of countries, and enough lap dancing to keep you busy all evening long.
