ECU's coach Mack McCarthy's only option was to call for a time out in order to rearrange his team when the knights gave them a humiliating 22-4 run. A decision that still failed because the knights emerged victors with a 74 - 71 win.

Taylor remains a key player in UCF line up after helping his team win its four games. His key role is mostly seen in the rebounds arena, where in the previous game he managed 5.2 boards and has a shooting percentage of 56.9 overall.

Taylor also received the player of the week honor which adds up to his fourth win in his career. This season he became second best in the conference with an average of 23.3 points for each game he played. This is the second time he is receiving the second best conference award.

After the win, knight's now remain with a 17-13 record among other teams and a record conference of 7-9, which automatically earns them the sixth position.
