Designer Mobile Phones : The exquisite style you love to have

Today, almost all major mobile phone companies have an offering for the ‘up market’ which was once dominant by Nokia Vertu. Therefore these companies have joined hands with top designers like Prada, Armani and even high-end car manufacturer Ferrari for these top line luxury phones. Dazzling both in terms of features as well as looks; these phones are just the right gadget for those who want to make a style statement.

Apple iPhone designer version
This phone claimed to be the most expensive phone in the world, 3G iPhone has been designed by Austrian jeweler Peter Aloisson using solid 18-carat yellow, white and rose gold embellished with more than 150 brilliant cut diamonds and one big 6.6 carat diamond for the central home button. This latest model dethrones Goldvish Le million costing $1.3 million which till now held the title of world's most expensive phone. The estimated value for the King Button is $2,517,345. The phone packs same features as present in the 3G iPhone.

BlackBerry Tellor Edition
It is a limited-release version of the popular Bold Smartphone and only 50 units will be available. It will have 205 ridiculously shiny diamonds are impeccably laced onto the bottom panel below the keyboard QWERTY and AZERTY models available and you can even bedazzle it with extra flair, including Celtic crosses, inlaid initials, and ostrich/stingray/lizard/alligator skins.

Vertu Signature series
Vertu is a household name for the Nokia's luxury mobile phone. The new Signature collection from Vertu was launched to celebrate its tenth anniversary. Known for high-end, hand crafted mobile phones, the new collection comes in three variants stainless steel, hallmarked white gold and yellow gold. The phones sport a patented keypad which contains 4.75 carats of solid ruby bearings. The phone's SIM drawer comes engraved with a unique Vertu pattern and battery cover release is operated by D-ring.

Vertu Signature in stainless steel costs Rs 6,46,000, yellow gold comes for Rs 1,767,000 and the white gold phone is available for Rs 1,971,000.

Samsung-Armani
Samsung, the Korean giant has unveiled a luxury phone, Emporio Armani Night, designed by fashion stylist Giorgio Armani. Flashy set of LEDs, quad-band GSM support, HSDPA, 3.2 megapixel auto-focus camera, Bluetooth with A2DP, 2.2-inch OLED display, 12mm thin with brushed-metal casing makes the phone truly luxurious.

Motorola Aura
Motorola, Inc. the telecommunication giant launches a new mobile phone for the wealthy people called 'AURA', a hand-sculpted masterpiece with luxurious design, artistry and sensory experience that costs Rs 1, 11,000.
The Aura’s sexy form factor and brilliant one of a kind circular 1.55-inch display that sports 16 million colors and a 300 dpi resolution also happens to be protected by a grade 1, 62-carat sapphire crystal that makes it scratch resistant.
The swivel key-guard is swung around by 130 precision ball bearings. Motorola guarantees the same grace at opening, even after 1, 00,000 times of opening and closing it. The mobile phone with stainless steel housing, textures and patterns chemically etched into its surface offers CrystalTalk Technology, GPRS/EDGE, 2 megapixel camera, 2GB internal memory, Bluetooth with A2DP, USB 2.0 and Music and Video player.
Also the luxury designer Alexander Amosu created Diamond Aura, encrusted with 99 diamonds around the clock face and available in limited edition.

Gresso Lady Diamond
The phone is geared towards the female crowd, specifically who are able to pay $5,500 for a mobile phone. Of course, just because you’re flush doesn’t mean you’ll be able to get this mobile phone, as it’s a very limited edition and only 8 units are made. It is made from 18k gold, 4 white diamonds and genuine leather. The Gresso Lady Diamond sports Windows Mobile 6 Standard, GSM/GPRS, Bluetooth, Music player and a 2-megapixel camera and 2GB of built-in memory.

Samsung F480 Hugo Boss
Hugo Boss, the Germany-based fashion company recently teamed up with Samsung to launch special Hugo Boss edition of the fully touch-operated F480 Tocco. Also called Samsung Tocco, it sports a 2.8-inch touchscreen QVGA display, and has a 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, audio and video player, and Bluetooth. The phone is a tri-band with HSDPA and 3G support. The Samsung Hugo Boss cellphone is priced at approximately $620.

Porsche P'9522
Porsche, the German manufacturer of luxury automobiles is also trying their hand in the luxury phone segment and out with new mobile phone P'9522, successor to its famous P'9521 flip-phone.

P'9522 is milled from a single solid aluminum block and a single sheet of scratchproof glass, 2.8 inch touchscreen with 400 x 240 pixels for navigation, GPS receiver for programming directions, 5 megapixel camera with autofocus and LED flash, Wi-Fi, MP3 player, and Quad band cell phone service, 2GB memory card, talk time of up to 240 minutes and stand by time of up to 300 hours. It is priced at approximately $774, about half the price of P'9521.

LG Prada 2
The second-generation LG KF900 from LG Electronics and Prada offers a host of technical upgrades over its predecessor. New features include a minimalist exterior, a set of keys that slide out and an improved user interface with LG’s latest active flash UI technology and haptic feedback on touch input.

Other key features include large touchscreen, 3G capability with HSDPA up to 7.2 Mbps, 5 megapixel camera featuring slow motion video recording and DivX playback, Wi-Fi, full HTML browser, and video calling capabilities.

The phone also features ‘Prada Link’, a Bluetooth device that can remotely monitor phone calls as well as read full SMS text messages without having to extract the phone from a bag or pocket. The phone sells for around $775 in US currency, and requires a two-year service contract.

Hence these high-tier mobile devices targeted for the people who has a taste for the exquisitely stylish, unrivalled quality and sensuous luxury.
