Five Steps To Promoting Your Articles To Have Them More Viewers

Once you've written and submitted a few articles as part of your internet marketing plan, it's time to start promoting them. While it's excellent that you've got your writing out there for people to read and publish, to make the most of them, you have to do some promotion. There are five main steps you need to take to ensure you get the most from your article marketing:

1. Tweet about your write-up.

Let people be aware when you have a new write-up listed in a directory by tweeting a website link to your readers. Letting them know about new write-up available from you is a quick and casual way to spread the word. A basic tweet should include the topic and the link. Stay with under 120 characters so people have space to retweet your message without having it get disconnected.

2. Post it on your blog.

While you don't like to post the whole report, you can allude to it at the end of another article. For instance, "Want to read more about how to coach your parakeet in a week or less? Look at my new post, "Tricks and Treats for Parakeets," and then link to the page.

3. Create a reprints page.

Create a list of your articles on a different page on your blog or website. Give hyperlink to it from the main page with a line that says, "Want more details on parakeet training, or would you like to reprint my work on your site? Click here for more details." Then provide links to all your posts, as well as how interested viewers can contact you for more information.

4. Link 'em up.

Tell your viewers about the information you have offered every chance you find. This is why it's good to have multiple articles submitted - you can mention a different one in your newsletter, on your Facebook page, in your signature line of your emails, in discussion boards, etc. If you've created focused, useful content, people are going to want to learn about it!

5. Combine them.

After you've authored 10 or 20 articles on a similar topic, combine them and edit them into an e-book, a special report, or an e-course. Add more information, create transitions, throw in a resource or more, and you've got a product to give away or market.

Writing and publishing your first few reports is just the start of the web marketing strategy. Think resourcefully about who would like the information you've composed, and how you can get it to them, and you're on your way to developing a continual flow of customers to your website.
