Buying wholesale is not necessarily the same as looking for cheap furniture. So when you set out to find resources for wholesale tables, you are not out of line to also insist on the same quality of furniture as you would get if you paid full retail for your tables. Too often the word "cheap" comes with it the implication that you are willing to accept a cheap or poorly made and low quality table instead of the top quality models of tables that you would get if you paid full price. The goal of smart shopping is to find the same quality you would pay for a full price table but to get that table drastically discounted to wholesale prices or cheaper.
In order to find great deals on tables, the trade of for the great price you are going to get is the work you must put in to find new sources for the furniture you buy. Obviously, the boutique furniture outlets that can afford to advertise on TV each week are not going to give you wholesale pricing. The mark up on furniture is pretty big but it takes a lot of money to not only advertise like that but to operate a furniture facility with staff and all the other expenses that go with retail sales. Those costs get passed on to you in the price of the table you might buy there.
To find the best quality wholesale tables, you have two basic approaches. One is to locate dealers who are authorized to sell wholesale by the manufacturer and make a deal with that kind of seller. The other is to seek outlets and overstock outlets that manufacturers use to move product that would not do well in the retail world. Every furniture maker has ways to move products that may have flaws or for other reasons have to be sold below retail. It really is a matter of identifying those outlets and getting in on the timing of when to look for the table or table set you want might be available via outlets.
However in these times of economic distress, a third option has become available for you to find sales "events" where top quality tables are sold at wholesale or even below wholesale. It is sad to say but when times are tough and money is tight like we have in the current economy, people stop buying at the high priced furniture stores that charge retail. And the outcome is that many of those stores go out of business because there are just not as many people around to pay those prices. When a higher priced retail furniture outlet goes out of business, that creates a huge opportunity for you to swoop in and pick up a top quality table or table set for wholesale prices or even cheaper in some cases.
This is not to celebrate the difficulties of others and we grieve whenever a business goes under because you know the hopes and dreams and finances of a family or many families go down with the business. But the only way a dying furniture retail store can hope to raise some capital to defray their expenses is to sell the inventory at a drastically reduced price. If you keep an eye on the most dominant furniture retailers in your town, you will know which ones have the best quality tables you want to buy. Then if one of those retailers is forced to liquidate, your fast movement not only gets you the table you want but in a way, you are helping that distressed businessperson out by helping them raise funds to finalize their business.
While on the surface, it might seem difficult to find good quality wholesale tables. But you can see that with a little research and by doing the "foot work", yourself, the discounts are out there and you too can find them and reap the savings. And you can do so without sacrificing quality so you will end up with just the table you wanted but at the price you wanted too.
