Do your research. If you want a well packed bag, you will need to find out everything you can about the place you are going to visit. Be prepared for anything that you might encounter in the place you are going. You can request a leaflet from the city that you are visiting before you go. Make sure to check the weather, it's unlikely to be the same as at home. You must be prepared for snow and rain or any other bad weather situations.
You will need to pack hunting gear to include the rifle, the sling, ammunition (50 rounds should suffice), sidearm (if you prefer), and a cleaning kit. Bring along the lens brushes for your rifle scope. Do not forget a sleeping bag. You might not need it but, it doesn't hurt to bring it along just in case. Space blankets are also a good idea, these are thin plastic that have a metallic surface on one side.
You will definitely need warm dry clothing. Safety is paramount on these trips so a first aid kit is essential. You will need enough food for the time out there plus a few extra days worth just in case. You may find that energy bars are small but provide adequate nutrition. Use common sense when planning and packing for your trip.
