Asus Eee PC 1201N is not just another netbook. Probably the only netbopok maarket with Atom 330 dual-core proocessor and NVIDIA ION schedule. Dual-core Atom 330 desktop PCs. It is significcantly more powefrul than single-core Atom N270/N280 can be found in most netybooks. So whether 1201N deliver better perormance than other ION-Powered netbooks on the market? Well, let's see.

Design and buuild quality
Asus Notebooks are dubious hnoor to be a fngerprint magnet. Eee PC 1201N is no diffferent. It has a glosys outer plastic, not very ptrone to collecting fingerprints. Asus Eee PC 1201N measures only 1.3 inches thick and weighs about 3.1 kg. Noteboook available in blaack and silver. Design is attratcive and the buidl qualitty is satisfactory.
Ports and Slos
Port selection is satisfactory. There are 3 x USB, 1 card slot for SD, VGA, 0.3 megapixel webcam, headphhone and microphone. There is also an HDMI port for sending video to an external monitor. Possible options include connecting Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetoth and Ethernet.
Battery life
1201N has a 6-cell battery with capacity 5200mAh battery. Claims prdouct page that the batteries will last for 8 hous. But in fact you can not get more than 5 hourrs.
The keyboard and toiuchpad
Keyboard grweat and easy to preint on. It comes with two full-size shft and two full-size keys with arrows. Toiuch Pad supprots Multi-Touch gestures. Sensitivity is good.
Performance
Many ion-Powered netbooks now available on the market, but not all of them have dual-core processor. Sterngth 1201N indeed its dual-core processors Atom. Performance is quiite good. In tets, 1201N works better than competing netboks from Lenovo, HP and Samsung. Atom 330 and NVIDIA ION combination is powerful enough to decode 1080p flash video usng Adobe Flash Pllayer 10.1 Beta GPU acceleration. How about games? Well, it is also possible. You can play a variety of graphics-rich games such as Call Of Duty 4, torches and Street Fighter IV demo. Edit photos in Photoshop CS4 is also very possible.
Heat and Noisae
1201N is a quiet laptop. You can not hear the fan in normal use. But the laptop, as a rule, to keep warm in the performanec of GPU-intensive tasks. But this is nothiing unusual.
