Till very recently I was pondering over my passion of writing on Air Jordans to pay my tributes to its fans who aren’t in any way disturbed at the outrageous prices their favorite kicks cost but the news I read this morning got me jumping out of my sofa. The story struck me with awe and I was totally groping for words as to how I can address this madness. Ok, be that as it may, the story was all about Nike Air Jordan wherein a crazy Japanese sneakerhead had purchased a pair of Air Jordans for an outlandish $24,000 which the experts named “Holy Grail”. Jesus!

Yes, I am not saying that I am at total oblivion of sneaker madness which prepares fans to pay astronomical amounts to buy a pair of Nike Air Jordan or other kicks but this one was extraordinary by any means given the fact that the money was enough to buy a brand new Honda Accord and still leave you with big savings. I am also aware how the sneakerheads comb the internet searching for rare pieces of their brands and pester far off sellers offering to buy at abhorrent amounts, I am not dumb to facts that they line up in front of shoe stores before dawn to buy their favorite kicks first day first; but trust me, I hadn’t heard of anything of this type ever. May be I have to brush up my general knowledge!

I am not saying that the fever is specific to Nike alone; sneaker junkies are unreasonable and all that they seek are the most extraordinary shoes in the world, it could be any brand but for now it is Air Jordans.

Quantifying the Madness
Over and again I recall how sneakerheads fritter away their time dreaming and discussing their favorite brands alone. Internet is bountiful of sneaker dedicated websites and discussion boards which further ignite their infatuation; in my opinion it is reminder of sorts – if hype is what is driving Air Jordans it is the converse that drives fans. Air Jordans fans are aware that Nike keeps trying out with various colorways, styles and materials to excite them further and keep the mantle up. Nike is plays its ball with calculated steps which is apparent in how it limits each new or re-release to ensure that each store gets 20-30 pairs at the most. Nike takes care of this by endeavoring to produce as glorious shoes as it can by investing enormously on research and design to make sure that buyers’ interest is best served.

Agreed, Nike Air Jordans or Air Jordan x Air Force 1 Fusion, another top shoe from Nike, may project you entirely differently unlike all your other gears at campus or at a party. Regardless of everything else, the point is, are you ready to go out without your favorite sneakers, particularly to where it counts most? The indisputable fact is Nike Air Jordan is manufactured in a wide variety of colors which hardens your choice unlike the first launch which was exact reverse this.
