The quest for a new stadium in Minnesota has reached its boiling point, after the hope for a new stadium failed. There has been less progress on building a new venue for the Vikings.

Team VP of public affairs and stadium developments, Lester Bagley blasted the Governor Tim Pawlenty for lack of engagement for the quick process of the construction of a new stadium. The VP provided bitter remarks as he said that time was running out for them especially if it doesn’t happen in the current legislative time.

He further lamented that the governor has been in power for six years yet nothing has been done. He said that the Gov. doesn’t lift a finger to solve problems or even hold discussions to solve the issue concerning the need to build a new stadium. This stood to be one of their frustrations and complaints.

Bagley’s comments came as he gave an update on the teams hope. Their hope as a team is to get public funding for a multipurpose stadium to be built on the site of the Metrodome. The Vikings are expected to request for close to $700 million for a $954 million stadium.

The Minnesota players also call for the same. The NFL and the players are together in the protest for the construction of new venue. This has been a recent happening in Minnesota as many supporters call for a quick action from the Governor and leading executives.
