Rookie's Guide to Kayaking and Whitewater Gear

Kayaking on very fast-moving rivers or other bodies of water is commonly known was Whitewater kayaking. You can take anything from a fun float trip to the challenge and adrenalin from a rapids route. Although you will undoubtedly be concerned with style, even more important is the functionality and protection offered. Helmets that look like the ones football players wear are available for those interested in serious whitewater kayaking. Top of the line kayaking helmets have face guards to protect a broader area.

If you want a high quality and reputable spray skirt material for kayaking then a very good bet is to use Reistant Neoprene. A spray skirt can be damaged by many factors, including exposure to light, friction with other surfaces, and improper treatment while washing that destroys its original shape. In the case of emergency, spray skirts must be easy to remove.
