The disclosure of this agreement was made in response to a lawsuit filed by TREA Senior Citizens League (TSCL), a 1.2 million-member nonpartisan seniors advocacy group under the Freedom of Information Act. TSCL believes the release of the agreement with Mexico could signal that President Bush may be getting ready to sign it and send it to Congress, which would have only 60 session days to reject it. The League urges seniors to contact their elected officials to voice their opinion on this or any other issue.
