The most frequently stated comment in singles dating is, “I just can’t find a date.” Most often times the answer is simple and something that the person is overlooking. It may be that they are still attached to their ex-lover or they have a peculiar little imperfection that could be fixed. For example, if Jimmy has bushy eyebrows and one particular hair that is wiry and sticks out, what do you think his date will spend the night looking at? Well of course, looking at that wild hair. So the best thing for you to do is find a friend or family member that is brutally honest and ask. In most cases they will tell you what the problem is and why you may not get another date. In singles dating there is some obvious turn off that you should really try to avoid. Issues like body odor, bad breath, personal grooming and your conversation habits can really turn off that potential mate. So before you go out on your singles date, look in the mirror and ask would I want to go out with me?
Do not dwell in the past if potential mate thinks that you are still in love with your ex you can kiss them goodbye. No one wants to be in a rebound relationship. Unfortunately a large population of using singles dating are based on the rebound. This can destroy a relationship very quickly. So make sure that you are over your ex before reentering the singles dating scene. Another problem that many face is that their date will probe and ask too many personal questions in the conversation. Keep your conversations light and on the surface until you know the individual a bit better. Questions can come at a later time. Most that are single dating are not looking for an interrogation so keep the questions to a minimum.
When going on singles dating adventure be polite and make sure that you act appropriately. Many times men will try and impress the female with their macho style ending up offending the waiter or bellhop. Women will over compensate and talk about how they booted the last man out. Don’t do this, be yourself and focus on a pleasant conversation and evening. When dating you do not have to prove how manly or strong you are, just have a good time. The rest will come later, you can let your hair down after a while but not while you are on your singles date. Your date will likely be watching your manners and actions so remember this and be on your best behavior.
Some people make the mistake of speaking about politics or other controversial issues while singles dating. This can be a disaster if you both have differing opinions, you can offend each other very carefully. Try and talk about things that are not going to ruffle the feathers of the other person. You can dig in and discuss those issues at a later date. See if you are compatible first and then discuss your opinion later. Remember everyone has an opinion but not everyone wants to hear yours!
Singles dating is fun and a great way to meet a potential mate. Take the evening for what it is worth and just maybe you will have a connection. If the sparks are not flying than wait it out and finish the evening like a courtesy individual. Do not get up and leave or tell your date how lousy they are. Word gets around in the single dating arena and you could become a marked individual. In other words be respectful. This is the key to any good date, respect and kindness. It goes along way, which can help you find your soul mate.
