Warm weather is coming and it is time to think about getting the grill out. Here Comes The Sun as George Harrison once sang. It is time to think about lighting the deck and yard up. There are low voltage lights and solar lights. Today I am going to talk about solar lights . I have heard that a lot of business people are putting solar lighting in 3 categories,Downlighting,Backlighting and Uplighting. I will cover downlighting today and the other two in later articles.
Downlighting solar lansdcaping lights and solar garden lights help to make steps ,decks, driveways and gardens safer for walking at night. There are many kinds and colors and the quality has improved very much especially the colored lights. I have a few colored lights and they come on earlier and stay on longer. These colored lights turn all kinds of colors and get a lot of attention from people when they see them. Solar lights require no wiring and have very little maintenance,and do not run up your electricity bill. We all know that fossil fuels are not the answer to our future.
The cost of global warming and some day we will run low, are a few reasons why we need to find alternate energy sources, solar and wind are 2 of those ways.
