St. Louis Rams Team Preview!

It appears that Ram’s new coach Steve Spagnuolo is growing thinner and thinner for the last month since he was elected the teams’ coach. He says the job is tasking and requires one to dedicate all his time and energy to the work. To hiring a staff, preparing them for the combine and evaluating the current roaster can proof to be time consuming. When asked about how his first month has been he says it has been challenging and wonderful and exiting all at the same time. Now that he already has his team hired he can proceed to the next agenda of starting a free agency to not only help them put the game plan together but also concern who they want to pursue. They also have a hard task ahead of them of making a decision regarding the players on the roaster, mostly those who have large salaries.

What scare them most are cap charges that sums up to $10.2 million for wider receiver Tony Holt and $ 9 million for left tackle Orlando Pace. When it comes to making decision concerning the players, Spagnuolo agrees that they have to rely heavily on Billy and others who have been there for quite some time, who have experience. Coaches as well who have been retained do also help a lot in decision making.

The top three needs for the team are for one, they need to revamp the position if possible. They are expected to start retooling the position sooner rather than later following Pace’s end of career and Alex who is entering the final year of his career. The team needs a centre upgrade for them to compete successfully and last they need to look for a credible middle man who will make impact to the game. In an effort to make valuable contributions to the team, couch Spagnuolo has made official some position assignment by appointing three other coaches to be in charge of coaching the linebackers, safeties and the tight ends. There are also several important decisions to be made in the team including veterans with large cap numbers and an attempt to restructure the contracts.
