The Energy of Acupuncture

In acupuncture, you will find that there are primary concepts that you have to absorb by which to understand the entire process better known as “Qi”. Qi happens to the energy of the body. As your body experiences negative energy, like disease or illness, your Qi is disrupted. As the affects of Acupuncture take hold, you will find that there are needles that are placed in specific locations of the body so that the Qi flow can be influenced. An acupuncturist is someone who uses various needles to heal or release your Qi flow. The concepts of the qi is difficult for most beginners to fathom, but it can be broken into easily understandable concepts that you can learn one at a time.
Firstly, it is vital to understand there are five main classifications of Qi energy: Qi, Jing, Xue, Jin Ye, and Shen. Qi can be roughly explained as “matter-energy.” It forces shifts in the universe, but it is an important part of your own well being. Most equate the Qi to the inner soul. Jing can be most closely translated as “essence” in the English language, but there are no exact words in Western terms that mean Jing. When it comes to Jing, it is something likened to DNA and then we are able to create our own by eating certain foods and the air that we breath. Jing, can also be called “health,” since we genetically receive some health attributes, but also affect our own health and the health of our children with our lifestyle choices.
Xue, which literally means blood, is the liquid that flows in the blood and through the Qi or energy of the body. The health of the blood and energy is dependent on one another. Jin Ye is also a tangible idea which is referred to bodily fluids. These fluids include saliva, milk, tears, genital secretions, sweat, stomach fluids, and other liquids of the body. Finally, Shen is referred to as the spirit of the body. Traditionally, the spirit is centered in a person’s heart.
Acupuncture is a way that you can heal the energies and to help promote a healthy body. The energies are vital since this helps us develop body heat, defend illness, grow and develop, control the body’s blood and organs, transform, and break down the body’s metabolism. If you get acupuncture done on a regular basis, then you will be able to release the negativity in your Qi and begin to live a prosperous life in the positive.

We’ve basically attempted to provide a consolidated version of the basic concepts of Acupuncture. This information is readily available throughout various mediums, one of which can be found at infoglimpse.com/acupuncture.
