Be sure that nothing remains neither in the exterior or the interior of the fish. A well cleaning insures that the next steps are OK. And also that you don't end up with some bad taste dish.

The next step in how to cook Tilapia is just like the step in how to bake salmon. Prepare a nice pan. And fill it with oil. Olive oil or palm oil are the best. Make sure also that the pan is well washed before usage. This way the tilapia won't taste like some other dish you prepared before.

Now simply place the salmon or the tilapia in the pan. Let it fry in the pan for about 30 minutes. Remember to season with pepper and salt. At least. Adding other condiments is also important. And don't forget to turn the fish around. Make it fry on both faces. This way the flavor will penetrate from both sides. And you won't over cook any side.
