People are busy! There is work, school, friends, family, activities, and the list of excusses continues on and on until
you decide it's time for it to stop. It seems that people simply don't understand that they are in control and responsible for
their lives. It's because of that reason that they truely do have the power to create time and change their lives.
People suffer from a disease of perception at times. In this case, it means they really think they're too busy--they just
don't know how to create time to invest in working on their body and enjoying awesome health and unbelievable energy!
Here's the good news. Everyone can create time to get in and stay in shape. Everyone can choose to make nutrition and
supplementation a part of their new healthy lifestyle. Here are seven life changing techniques you can start practicing to get in
the best shape ever and keep it that way.
TIP #1 See That You Have Just As Much Time As The Next Person-Period!
A day is 1,440 minutes long no matter how you look at it, and not one person on earth could tell you any different.
Successful people have extremely busy lives just like everyone else. Life can be chaotic and crazy. Everyone has family,
friends, jobs, and things that come up out of nowhere that they have to deal with. Don't feel like you are so very different! All the time needed to change your body and life is only about four hours a week. Wow! Four hours doesn't sound like a
whole lot and it shouldn't because it's not. That is a very small percentage of the time you have available every week. Just
over 2%, which isn't a commitment to big to handle for anyone. Right? A good nutrition and supplementation program is important to creating a body for life. Don't get caught up thinking it
takes too much of your precious time to eat right or you'll stay stuck forever. The truth is that it will save you time when you
start eating right.
TIP #2 Cut Back On Watching TV!
Television is probably the biggest time sucking obstacle people face in our society. People spend many times over the
amount of time it would take working out each week to get in fantastic shape wasting awway in front of the television. So, no
excuses! In reality, sitcoms aren't that interesting and much of the time the news is irrelevant to most of us. Really, what
difference does it make?
TV puts you in a trance where you aren't thinking about to much and aren't accomplishing anything either. You don't have
to give up TV by any means, just watch less. Ask yourself if you could use the time to be more productive by doing something
else. I think the answer would probably be somewhere along the lines of, "Absolutely." Wasting time is equivilent to wasting
your life! That doesn't sound very cool to me. Can anyone just hardly wait to tell their children how they spent most of life on
their butt watching tv instead of accomplishing great things and being in great shape?
TIP #3 Think, Plan In Advance!
One of the easiest and best ways to save time is to plan your day in advance. Create a "Things To Do List" at night with
things that are important and that make a difference. Actions produce results. If you need better results, change your actions.
Don't forget to put working out, nutrition, and eating right on your list. Check off what you got done every day before bed. If you haven't got a clue as to what you're going to do tomorrow, you end up wasting part of the day trying to figure it
out. Planning ahead means less obstacles and smooth sailing or at least much calmer waters. You can't get everthing done on your
list because you can't see the future, but you adjust what you're doing and in the end you have an extra hour to use efficiently
for whatever you want. What a perfect time to get a great workout in!
TIP #4 Exercise Regularly!
Get out of the problem and into the solution. The so-called problem is not having enough time or energy to exercise and
get in shape in which working out is the very solution to the problem of not having time. You create more energy when you
workout. When you have more energy, you get more accomplished in a shorter amount of time which results in more free time
somewhere in your day. It's been proven by science that working out and stimulating your body and mind gives you more energy. It
also leaves you feeling good about yourself and your world. It's aso about finding a healthy balance. You do't want to over-due
it because it will leave you feeling run down instead of good which isn't any better than the starting point.
The benefits of working out are truely amazing. You sleep better because you fall asleep faster and wake up feeling
renewed and fresh. That's how it should be. Not only do you gain energy, you gain self-confidence in what you choose to do. You
believe in yourself and will be more effective in what you do. Adding a few hours of exercise a week will give you back twice
that in extra time. Go ahead--amaze yourself!
TIP #5 Eat Healthy!
"I don't have time to eat right," is another excuse that tops the list. Eating healthy is easier than ever because of
what is available. For example, an excellent meal that has all the right things can be made in a performance-nutritional shake or
consumed in a nutritious bar. There are tons of options available. Remember that you have to want something different and be
willing to do what it takes to achieve results.
You can also create more energy by feeding your body with what it actually needs nutritionally. It's an energy that
carries you throughout the day. Plain and simple--eating healthy saves you time, not robs you of time.
Do you eat out? Think about how much time you spend waiting to be served your high-calorie, unhealthy meals. It most
likey takes a shorter amount of time to prepare and consume six nutritious meals a day than you'll spend eating out. It takes
time to change and transition to a better eating plan. Doing so will make you feel better, fuel you body with energy and
nutrients, improve your body, keep you from getting sick so often, and give you more time than you have now.
TIP #6 Try Not To Babble!
Get off your phone! Quit texting! Stop telling stories nobody cares about and that bring no benefit to anyones life!
The internet is another precious time stealer. If you don't know what you're looking for, you can easily spend hours wasting away
in front of the computer screen. Talking on the phone is a waste of breath a lot of the time. Handle your business and get back
to being productive. Get creative! Walk while you're on the phone. Buy a hands free headset and bike outside if you can or at a gym on a
stationary bike. This allows you to get more accomplished with the same amount of time. Give yourself a time limit. Set it on
your phone and stick to a five minute time limit. Try this simpe tool and see for yourself how effective it is.
You don't have to call your family every day. Use emails but keep them short and sweet. Write a letter and mail it. It
sounds almost old fashioned but will be greatly appreciated. Add one phone call a week and that should be plenty to stay in touch
with friends and family. Good Luck!
TIP #7 Set A Deadline!
Sometimes people take their sweet time trying to get things done that it's a wonder they ever actually do anything.
Setting a time limit or deadline can make you much more effective and efficient. Pick up the pace and you can add an extra hour
to you day as a bare minimum.
Think about a basketball game and how the players respond as the time drains off the clock. They can often times become
more effective because they now have greater focus. They get a second wind of strength, stamina, and energy trying to get every
last point and use every last play. As the time runs out and the deadline approaches, they put more and more into it because they
want to meet the deadline and win the game. Do you see how powerful a deadline can be? Try to place strict deadlines on yourself and the things you do. Stick to them. Back the decision up with action. When
you practice this technique, you'll amaze yourself at what you can get done and how fast it happens. Add this to the already long
list of things you can do to create more than enough time to get in and stay in shape.
Remember that these tips work if you work them. It takes effort, work, and willingness to change and try different
things. You can make excuses your entire life and set a terrible example of being healthy and feeling good--or you can learn to
get more done with less time to create the life you deserve with the body you desire. We wish you the best of luck in your
journey.
