I know nobody really mentions them much and you just don't hear alot pertaining to them, but the people that use this type of marketing, are glad you dont use it, because it's their own little secret.
Paid magazine ads are a very good way to help push qualified leads to your website. They are quite a good supplement to establishing your income online, as the people that contact you from a magazine advertisement are an extremely qualified lead. These people have obviously seen your advertisement, and have more than likely taken a look at your website. Many have even listened to your 800#, and left you a message. These are super qualified leads for your income online type of business. These individuals are just needing a few questions answered for the most part. They want to see if there is someone accessible on the other end of the phone. They are normally three quarters of the way sold, they just need a little more information to base their decision upon.

Now lets take it a step further, what if you published your ad in a targeted publication? Let's say you are selling stereo speakers in your online business. You have a website built for your speakers. You target all your focus on your website, do you go and place an advertisement in a flower magazine? Of course you don't, you place your ad in a music magazine, a stereo magazine, or a rock magazine. You target your audience, that way when you do get a response to your ad it is super qualified and is seen by an attentive audience for the next few months.
The biggest drawback to placing paid magazine ads is that it takes two to three months for your ad to be published. Most no one want's to tie up their money for that long of a period of time, especially in our hurry up society. Not too many people have the foresight to see the income that can be generated because they decided to bite the bullett and put out that money upfront, and then be patient. There are many , many magazines that have readerships well in excess of three or four million people. I personally don't mind waiting a few months to reap the online benefits that that type of traffic can produce, and neither should anyone that is serious about making their income online.
