Some people like to fish in a group, some like to fish alone. Fishing offers fun for both fishing on your own as well as in a crowd.
Perhaps you like to fish alone so you can relax and take in the surroundings of the peace that seems to come when fishing by a river bank. It is a great way to escape from the noisy roads and televisions and gives you time to gather your thoughts together whilst still enjoying the buzz from casting your rod into the water.
Others who are of a competitive nature, love fishing because there is always the fun of the person who catches the small fish so that everyone else can have a bit of a laugh on their behalf.
There is of course also the buzz of catching the biggest fish and feeling the praise and the pats on the back for doing a good job as well as showing your friends at home the size of the fish you caught.
Fishing offers a lot of pleasure and you don’t have to be an expert to enjoy the sport.
It has always amazed me how young kids in their teens pick up on fishing and gather their friends together and enjoy a day out fishing. It isn’t as though there is a lot to do for teens in some areas where they may live, but once they taste fishing, it becomes the next big thing and seems to be a sport that sticks with them through their adulthood.
We all hold memories of things we did in our childhood, but fishing is one that sticks with me as a child as I would sit on the river bank with my father the first time I ever went fishing. After that, I remember nagging my father to buy me a fishing rod because I knew it was something I wanted to do again.
Deep sea fishing is a totally different experience from sitting on the river bank. There is a wider variety of fish that could be caught which you would never find in the river. This in itself offers excitement as you wonder what type of fish will take your bait, and you still don’t know until the moment you reel it in.
You can be sure you will not be alone if you take a trip on a deep sea fishing boat, but for those who are happy to fish with other people around as well as taking in the days experience with a qualified crew; there is certainly a lot of enjoyment to be had.
Even on a deep sea fishing boat you don’t have to be the worlds most experienced fisherman, perhaps it’s the first time you have ever been fishing, maybe your boss decided to take the employees out for a days treat on a deep sea fishing boat, there is nothing to fear about fishing, and you may be surprised how much you enjoy it.
There are tons of reasons why people love to fish, but one thing that is common is that it is an outside sport where people can take in the natural surroundings away from their busy lifestyles.
