For those of you are that are not very familiar with online search engine advertising, there are two main ways of promoting your products or services through the search engines:
Pay Per Click:
All major search engines such as google and yahoo do provide a service through which users may bid for specific keywords on which they would like to appear on the first page of the search engines. This therefore means that the higher the competition over a keyword, the more you may need to pay in order to appear at the top of the competition. Usually the search engines result for the sponsored search appears at the top of the 1st page or at the right hand side of the 1st page of the search engines.
Organic:
Search engine result appearing at the left side of the page, is what is known as organic result. The organic result is the result of SEO (search engine optimization). Search engine optimization is the art of creating useful content on your website, and building external links to it. http://www.thegridmarketing.co.uk/ also known as: “Century Utilities Ltd. Century House” is saying to be providing 1st page of google within 24 hours, and they can put you on that page for at least 5 search terms! If this isn’t too good be true, they also claim it would only cost you £97.
What are they miserably failing to tell you:
- This is a GOOGLE ADWORDS campaign, which is the equivalent of the pay per click described above. The only difference is that they manage your campaign for you.
- The key term on which you appear on are completely useless, barely ever search by anybody, for this isn’t good enough, to prove the point, contact us though www.savemysystem.co.uk, and we will give you evidence of the above mentioned.
- They do not tell you that the $97 is not VAT inclusive.
We have had a first hand experience of their services, that has been going on for the past month, we have not had even 1 click to our website, we have paid them £97 + VAT that we dearly regret, but this article is to give a warning to any eventual customer of thegridmarketing website.
