  • Educating About Discrimination
With the wide spectrum of reality shows on plastic surgery, we as a society have put good looks on a pedestal much higher than can be reached. A good point is when the article mentions movies portraying the ugly villain and the handsome good guy. This is precisely where some children get their education daily doses. Who determines whether you feel comfortable with your image, you or your surrounding social atmosphere? This is an answer I’ll give for you, it is your atmosphere.
  • Education: Girls Go Ahead
Girls differ from boys starting from the secondary school. Although some stats show boys are somehow more successful in maths, physics, chemistry and scientific research the data significantly changes for further years of education when schoolchildren grow up. In the earlier days of girls’ inclusion in education system boys were inevitably better scored at exams. But this dominance was caused by social problems rather than girls’ intellectual abilities. The society was not ready to accept educated females who were intending to use their knowledge and get high positions in business world and financial independence in society. Thus, girls were highly depressed and there were even introduced girls-separated classes. However, their willingness to learn won, and girls were introduced to the single-males classes. Immediately girls had to put more efforts to survive in education world and became studying better than boys who were quite sure in their dominant position.
  • Imitation As the Way of Learning
However due to the ineffectiveness of correction, where when children start to string sentences together and they come out with things like this "Want other one spoon, Daddy." Which one can see almost makes sense and the child had obviously developed the sense of the numerical value of the spoon and that he/she only requires one spoon. But the father goes on to see if he can make the child lose the "One" from the speech and the child is still at the stage where it hasn't acquired the knowledge that it can lose the amount of a product required with a value of less than two.
  • History of Great Britain
    Wars with France
The French Revolution broke out in 1789. Great Britain went to war with France in 1793, because the French had taken the area that is now Belgium and threatened to conquer other areas.
  • The Patriarchal Society and Father Role
The first aspect is the assumption that a father is the head of a family, and she criticizes this by using the characters. The main characters who Carter focuses parenting on in the book are Grandma Chance, the mother figure, and Melchior, the father figure. Because Pretty Kitty died during birth, Dora and Nora are both brought up by Grandma Chance, an old lady who isn’t even related to either of them. This is perhaps Carter’s first step of criticism; by demythologising, and that is done through Grandma Chance who is an ageing, nudist, feminist, who is bring up two new born babies, an idea that wouldn’t be heard of within a patriarchal society. So through Grandma Chance, not only has Carter tackled the myth that old people can’t be parents, but she has also introduced Grandma Chance as an alternative or matriarchal society. There is also the blatant criticism that Melchior has left without word offering no help in bringing up the babies.
  • Fallen Idols
Hemingway portraits all his American characters as physically defective people, but their physical defectiveness is the reflection of their inner emptiness. The “Short Happy Life of Francis Macomber” is based on the idea of imitation the ideal life set by the society in 1920s in US. All main Hemingway’s characters are filled with fear, unlike Emerson’s idea that your life is not an apology and you shouldn’t have fear in your heart. Achieving happiness is not living in American dream and following the idols, such as money. Happiness can only be reached at the stage absolutely free of fear.
  • Educational Policy During Twentieth Century
The creation of a comprehensive system of elementary schooling was for long held up not only by a reluctance to foot the bill for such a large public project but also by upper-class fears.
  • The Montessori Classroom
In contrary, an infant does not inherit styles of behavior from his parents, but develops an individual personality according to his will relating to his surroundings. This makes each child unique, like an uncut gem, different from one another despite coming from the same species.
  • Communication as Our Fundamental Right
Reece and Walker cited that Communication is essentially about one person who sends a message which is received by a second person; however some form of channel, or means of communication is needed.
  • Aboriginal Children
Every child has the capacity to learn. How much and how effectively they learn is in the hands of the classroom teacher. In a school community that has a population which includes Aboriginal students, it is essential to actively get to know every student as an individual, a cultural being and a learner. Without this, there are limits to the learning capacity of the child within the classroom environment.
  • As You Like It By Shakespeare
The relationships between two loving persons will definitely depend on these toe persons themselves and they may refer to either standard, regular male--female relationships or some non-standard female--female/ male--male connections, women--lesbians and men--gays. ‘Love is as you like it’, says Shakespeare and proves it by the genus of his play characters.
  • Corporate Social Responsibility
But, as I thought about corporate Corporate Social Responsibility in USA there’s an interesting situation. Companies make profits, unhindered except by fulfilling their duty to pay taxes. Then they donate a certain share of the profits to charitable causes. It’s easily seen as tainting the act for the company to receive any benefit from the giving. But as with any process based on the collective activities of communities of human beings (as companies are) there is no "one size fits all". In different countries, there will be different priorities, and values that will shape how business act.Today's heightened interest in the proper role of businesses in society has been promoted by increased sensitivity to ethical issues. Issues like environmental damage, improper treatment of workers, and faulty production leading to customers inconvenience or danger, are highlighted in the media.
  • US Bankruptcy Laws
They are entitled o payment forthwith. They have an unassailable right to be paid out of the assets of the debtors. From the scenario, many of the original settlers in Texas were debtors fleeing from creditors in other states because Texas bankruptcy laws generously protect a debtor's "homestead" from being seized by creditors. In order to discuss about these facts The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005, the changes in the bankruptcy code, debtors and creditors right has to consider here.
  • Information Technology Revolution In Business
Communication systems and sub-systems are the means by which the organizations coordinate various human activities to work in the common direction for achieving the end goals. Hence, communication is the binding factor that integrates the two – Information Technology and Organizations. The aim of this essay is to highlight the effects of information technology on an organizational structure and bring out the challenges that organization structures face in today’s information age.
  • Leisure
The activities people undertake during this residual time are characterised as playful and enjoyable and could also be classed as being recreational. They are suitable to each person who undertakes them; it’s all about choice. Leisure is described as a means to achieving socially desired and approved ends, and is consequently frequently described in such positive terms as ‘therapeutic’, ‘remedial’ or ‘training’, or more negatively, as ‘compensatory’, ‘sublimatory’, or ‘social control’. This definition fails to mention that it is the free time in which an individual has total control of his/her actions and the activities they undertake. Historically leisure has been perceived as being elitist, only accepting those with time, money and independence. Times are changing.
  • Urban Migration To Diversity
Until a few decades ago this movement of people was a migration – from a home country to a host country – with little, if any, interaction between those who migrated and those who stayed back. To a large extent, it can be argued, that the interaction was limited to the sending of remittances back home. With advances in the areas of transport and communication, migrants nowadays not only travel back and forth, and maintain constant touch with their families, but also play a more active part in the social, political and economic fields of both countries, than was ever possible before. What does this duality augur for the U.S.? How does the immigrant population, which is growing rapidly, affect life socially, economically and politically?
  • Violence Against Females- Myth Or Reality?
Being the weaker sex the women are always humiliated and their rights are violated by the male dominated societies. The women in past has been continuously subject to the Household torture and mal treatment by the male or Husbands. In Eastern Societies it is more serious than western as in the Eastern Cultures the women are regarded as subject of Honor.
  • Birth Control Movement
But this situation changed in the period between the 1700s to the 1800s when death rates dropped due to improved standards of living and control over major disease brought about by discoveries and inventions in medicine (vaccines and antibiotics), agriculture and public health (water and sanitation). These advancements spread throughout the world as a result of which population began soaring rapidly.
  • What Influences Public Opinion?
It is a psychological group without any face-to-face contact. ‘Opinion’ according to common usage is a judgment or belief held with confidence but not substantiated by positive knowledge or proof. Public opinion is the outcome of social interaction involving discussion of a problem affecting the interests and values of the people.
  • # Who Is Interested In Public Opinion?
Herein, as general knowledge presupposes, the public is made up of a people in society. The word ‘public’ therefore is easily grasped. However, opinion “unlike fact, is unverifiable”. That opinion is unverifiable, at least from the onset, with the mass public as its primary source is the foundation of the landmark book, Public Opinion by Walter Lippman. In part one of the book, Lippman wrote that every individual tends to have “pictures” of the world different from the real world. Furthermore, he wrote that human beings tend to formulate conclusions and make decisions based on these pictures or images.
  • Who Runs Public Opinion?
While there does exist informed individuals who follow and understand the important social, economic and cultural issues, for the greater part, most citizens pay little attention to the same, and when asked, pull their preferences off the tops of their heads. Since empowerment for interest groups comes from it (i.e. politicians will not be re-elected without public support), there must, therefore, be some mechanism in place for these groups to assess and access public opinion. Given the citizenry’s low information threshold, what appears to be public opinion can only be the cultivation, crystallization and communication of individual preferences into one collective mass by special interest groups who provide and control the flow of necessary information in accordance with agenda setting theory.
The strength of an individual’s interests and attitudes on the one hand and their policy preferences on the other depends in a large part on the level of information that they possess. Certainly, an informed citizen is a better one when considering the theory and underpinning of the democratic process, as it is understood in this country today. Yet, study after study demonstrates that the majority does not possess the level of information necessary to properly evaluate and assess important political, social and economic issues.
  • Time Changes And Values Changes
As civilization progressed and the ape descended from the tree to walk upright, and then with the passage of time went on to fly in a space shuttle around the earth, what is considered indispensable by the species Homo sapiens has changed a great deal. Probably one of the very few areas which is still considered a necessity and which continues to prove an elusive goal is a state of global peace in which the finest capabilities of mankind could attain fulfilment.
  • The Population Control Controversy
Many problems surface with this argument. Overcrowding may not be the root cause of such problems. Although the belief that too many people in a region outstrip vital resources like food and water may seem logical, it may ignore the fact that the resources were not adequate enough in the first place. Overpopulation might only be contributing to a problem that has many other deeper causes. In addition, governmental plans to control family planning may be unethical. Many people are stunned by China’s policy of one child per family. Others view the United Nations’ fervent implementation of birth control education in Africa as too assuming and arrogant, as imperialism at its worst. Many agree that human life is sacred to the extent that the right to life exists. The crucial question when analyzing the problem of controlling population is whether or not people have the right to create life. This essay will briefly explore both sides of the debate about population control as the solution for averting poverty in a nation.
  • Science Of Public Opinion
Though, this simplicity wanes away when we start defining the public, the aggregation methods of opinion and cumulative effect of various contradicting opinions. This becomes more complex in today’s social order, when the whole populace can’t assemble at one place. It is to be noted that public opinion is imagined but not imaginary, it provides legitimating force to society and must be considered as robust and persuasive function.
  • The Political System of the USA
The president is the head of the state and of the government. The president is selected for a 4-year term. Under a constitutional amendment passed in 1951, a president can be elected to only two terms.
  • Football
Football used to be played as a running battle between villages and small towns. There were no boundaries and there were no limits to the amount of people on each side. It was often played on bank holidays on some open ground; in many ways it was a form of gang warfare. These battles were contested between sides of working-class men. They often took place when the factory had closed early or on Sundays, a day of rest. The later introduction of the half-day off proved to be vital, allowing men to both play and watch football.
  • George Gordon Byron
To improve and strengthen health of ten-year Byron the mother brought him to Scotland, where there was her ancestral estate on the seaside. Needing money, his mother gave the estate into the lease and settled with the son in a small town.
  • William Shakespeare
His plays written for a small repertory theatre in the late 16th and early 17th centuries, are nowadays performed more often and in more countries that those of any other playwright. W. Shakespeare’s early life was sent in Stratford-upon-Avon where he attended the local grammar school.
  • Trade At Globe Scale
With the exchange of goods and services, a number of other—social, political and economic changes are exported and imported into the country. International Trade has increased over the past two decades due to many reasons. A major reason has been the increase in “free trade”. Previously, there was little free trade within countries and high regulatory tariffs were applied on international trade. But as the importance of free trade became evident, all major manufacturing regions like United States and Europe and lately China, India and Russia have also shown support for free trade. As a result, regional agreements have been signed such as NAFTA and European Union.
  • Global Business Expansion
In the course of their development, these firms discover that the options open to them to lower manufacturing and business costs rest in taking their business overseas and setting up plants and offices from where they can operate cost effectively.
  • Capital Finance And Globalization
Competition has become increasingly more intense and some countries have been forced to lower wages or extend working hours to attract these capital flows and provide a profit while keeping the costs of production at a reasonable level. This clearly demonstrates the average worker’s position at the bottom of the capital-market totem pole. A primary driving force behind this inability to prioritize the needs and overall welfare of workers, as was the common practice in the “Golden Age”, is the essential element of time inherent in this type of global competition. All of the developing countries are attempting to establish their capital market infrastructure at the same time.
  • The Insurance Practice
The owners of property experienced fear for its safety because of the possibility of destruction or loss in connection with the natural calamities, the fires, the robberies and other unforeseen dangers in economic life.
  • Adaptation of Personnel
At the same time, there is large western experience of the use of adaptations techniques, which only lately other staff services and agencies began to adopt.
  • Child Learning Theory Of Mentalism
This theory is that language develops of its own accord and is in no way affected by external frequencies. Factors that back this theory up are the babbling noises children make from about the age of 6 months old, when the noises and sounds produced have little or no resemblance to any language but the child has started to develop strong enough vocal cords to vocalise certain things. Children’s language develops in a regular sequence of milestones known as First stage, Second stage, Third stage and so on.
  • Albert Enstein
However, he was not considered very bright when he was a child. When he was nine, his father told his wife he was very worried about him because he was “a bit dim”. His teachers complained that he had no sense of discipline and had a bad effect on the other pupils. When he was fifteen, he was thrown out of school, but a few years later he was allowed to study mathematics and physics at a special technical university in Zurich. However, even at university he was hardly “a good student”. He rarely attended lectures, and was often trouble with the professors because he constantly argued with them. One of them told him:” You are clever, extremely clever. But you have one real fault – you never let your self be told anything!” When he graduated from university he couldn’t get a job, partly because none of his professors would recommend him for one. Finally he found one in the Swiss Patent Office in Berne. One of his duties was writing descriptions of new inventions.
  • School Leaders
The heads in the study had deliberately chosen a form of leadership to move the school forward, empowering others to lead and distributed leadership activity throughout the school. According to Leithwood this leadership covers similar traits of transformational leadership. James McGregor Burns's "transformational leader" is firmly identified with the transforming of organizations via the communication of clear vision to people who are empowered to deliver that vision. As Burns acknowledges, such leaders are rare but they do change organizations in major ways. The head teachers in the study had adopted Yukl's guidelines for becoming a transformational leader such as:
  • Essay Writing
We will research topics such as the wide variety of teachers and institutions whose standards may differ from others. We will also research multiple intelligence and other methods that may be used to assess students.
  • Girls-only Schools
The sixties were the time when a shift towards coeds occurred. It was the time when feminism and other forces compelled many all-girl establishments to close or merge with boys-only schools. The educational system in the United States seemed intent on “homogenizing education”. This discouraged diversity by stamping out schools that are off the beaten track. Girls-only schools were all but eliminated, baring a few exceptions. Coeds were perceived to be the progressive and informed choice. But recent decades has seen a reversal of that trend.
  • The Twentieth Century European History
For these peacemaking efforts, the Democrat president was awarded a Nobel Prize in 1919. The Republican-dominated Senate’s refusal to be persuaded was more than just due to partisan politics; indeed, it reaffirmed an approach that had shaped American foreign policy for a century and a half.
  • English Practice
Just a few decades ago English learners had to travel to English native countries to improve their English knowledge. This way of English practice was quite expensive and those who could not afford travel expenses and foreign accommodation had to find cheaper and easier ways for their practice. They would satisfy with reading English books, journals, magazines and articles in origin and speak to their friends and relatives who could somehow communicate in English. The things had considerably changed with the new technologies innovations which immediately spread out the world and became the integral part of each person’s every day life. These new technologies have become a real gift for English learners because they could provide excellent opportunity to stay at home and have vital communications with hundreds of English native speakers. These new technological gifts are the Internet and DVDs.
  • New Language and How We Learn It
In this article I will try to discuss second language acquisition theories: compare and contrast L1 and L2 acquisition, introduce some key points, such as internal factors which include innatism/universal grammar, internal theories, to be specific I will discuss them in Krashen's acquisition, monitor, input, affective filter ways. Additional, as a language learner I will describe my own beliefs about language leaning.
  • Creativity and English Education
The development of the human civilization has depended wholly upon the creativity and ingenuity of mankind to bring about purposeful focus, change and order into our world. Human creativity is a very unique and powerful characteristic that lies at the heart of what it means to be human. For mans continual desire to fulfill the needs of the human race by creating and developing artifacts from the raw materials of our world has ultimately shaped the way we live, work, play and learn today. Creativity can therefore be said to be the most powerful and fundamental natural human resource that empowers us, as humans, to freely create what has never been seen. In Bronowski's 'The Ascent of Man', he described man as the species who's imagination and toughness make it possible for him not to accept his environment but to change it.
  • Benefits of Learning a Foreign Language
However, elementary schools should teach foreign languages due to the valuable benefits to the students. Not only is it easier to learn a foreign language at a younger age, but it also helps increase progress in academics as well as creative thinking skills.
  • # English Language And How It Varies
Spoken English is subject to more variations than written English since the standard forms of English that have been codified tend to come from written English. Therefore, I will focus on the discussion of the variation of spoken English in this essay.
  • Arbitrariness in Language
I have used Portuguese model just to illustrate that the words themselves do not have to be the same, or understandable for us, just that the tribesman needs to be able to understand. In the example I have just given, the words "tigre-dente-de-sabre" means the same as a "sabre tooth tiger" in English. These words are the sign or signifier. If you were to travel back in time and ask a tribesman were you could find a sabre-toothed tiger he would have absolutely no idea what you were talking about. That is because the words have no connection to the animal in question. How then are the words related to the animal, or signified? According to Saussure, all signs are arbitrary, and are wholly conventional associations that have been determined by social rule, or semiotic convention. At first you could argue that this absolute statement is flawed, especially in relation to onomatopoeic words. However, if you look in detail at specific languages you will see some differences. For example, in English a cock's crowing is represented in speech and writing as cock-a-doodle-doo, whilst in French it is cocorico. In my humble opinion it is unlikely that cock's in Britain and France sound different.
It can also be said that noises have no significance in and of themselves. A noise is just a noise, just as a piece of wood hitting another is just that, one piece of wood hitting another. However, when a judge hits his mallet against his desk it is accepted he is calling the court to order. How then are these sounds assigned meaning? Unlike in Mark Twain's "Diaries of Eve" someone has not gone around naming animals and objects for us. It has been argued that words are assigned meaning "by virtue of systematic differences between them" and only have significance "through relations through one another in a symbolic system" or language.
  • Standard English - What Is It
Therefore knowledge of Standard English is seen to be crucial.

Standard English is the country's universal language if you like, as speakers of all varieties of English can understand the standardized form therefore we generally hear Standard English spoken on the television and radio news shows. In its written form Standard English can be found in formal styles such as business letters and essays. Because of this unified understanding, this variety of English is taught to second-language speakers, which preserves its cultural value.
  • Utopian Society Is Not Ideal
Among the ‘discoveries’ that occurred then was that of the New World by European explorers, and the curiosity concerning these voyages of exploration plus the advent of the printing press meant that ‘printed records of the Renaissance explorations were [soon] everywhere available’, and thus Utopia as ‘a product of this exploratory context’ is ‘undeniable’. This is apparent in that its central character is a sailor and that his impressions of the imaginary island of Utopia constitute most of More’s text, which is a cross between travel narrative and social satire. The above quotation from Utopia depicts the Utopian lifestyle, one that has benefits and drawbacks, and the references to work, corruption, and poverty highlight key aspects of any debate considering whether or not one would like to live in More’s Utopia.
  • Utopian World Has Problems
The confusion one might experience in approaching such a question is mirrored in the centuries of scholastic debate the text has aroused; since its very first appearance in print Utopia has succeeded in functioning primarily to provoke uncertainty and disagreement amongst its readers and interpreters. The problem, of course, is that it is extremely difficult, even on close analysis of the text, to discern the degree to which the vision of the supposedly ‘perfect’ society Utopia paints is intended to be taken seriously. While on the one hand the book overtly works to present us with a technically flawless plan for the organisation of society, on the other, it seems simultaneously to strive to make us aware of certain dubious features of that plan, which cannot help but limit reader enthusiasm in the approach to the whole.
  • Abortion
For example, a mother who wants an abortion because she cannot afford to provide an adequate quality of life for herself and the unborn child, and a woman who had become pregnant through rape have completely different reasons for wanting an abortion, and, therefore, the justification of the act of abortion in each case will differ dramatically.
  • The Idea Of Global Village
First, on the idea of technology and media shrinking ‘space’ and ‘time’. The second aspect is the liberalization of markets and a third angle is the freedom of transportation. These three factors combine to strengthen the notion of the world really being a global village. Most citizens of the ‘first world’ are happy to believe that this indeed is the case. They claim that if they can follow a war being fought in another country on their TV sets like its happening in their living room. The world must have shrunk. They cite instances of people corresponding in a matter of seconds through voice chat and Emails. An old father in Mumbai proudly displays the earnings of his NRI son through quick money transfers. A husband in Sun City smiles as his wife in London gets a bouquet, bought and delivered through internet services. And a young man exults in the ‘small world’ where he breakfasts in Banglore and has lunch in Singapore!!! It is feedbacks of this nature that prompted McLuhan to write: ‘Today, after more than a century of electric technology, we have extended our central nervous system in a global embrace, abolishing both space and time as far as our planet is concerned’ .
  • Web Site Operation
The following legal matters have to be considered: the domain name must be unique and the organization has to be the first one to reserve the particular name. The organization has to acquire the rights to post any copy right preserved information on its web site. All terms and conditions of usage must be included at the notices and disclaimer page. Web hosting agreements are also necessary when it comes to proper management of the web site.
  • Internet Marketing For Online Companies
At the same time, depending on the marketing strategy implemented by a business, the potential client list can be very small and specialized. Some of the more popular elements of the Internet try to reach both. Yahoo! and Google are two of the most recognizable names not only on the Internet, but on Wall Street as well. These two companies are the top two most visited sites in the United States.
  • Play and Child Development
This type of development begins at a young age, as a baby a child will play with their fingers and toes, grasp objects around them and explore them in their mouth and other ways. A child will experiment with objects they can move or use to make a sound, and therefore can start to understand them. Play also helps children’s cognitive development in other forms, for instance, through creative activities, such as painting a picture, this activity enables children can learn to group or categorize objects according different criteria.
We can also see that play can have a beneficial effect on a child’s development in the area of language. Through play children learn to ask questions or have to develop and understanding of a new set of rules in a game. For example in the case of construction play when children are building a tower with others, they need to be able to form an understanding of instruction, the same can be said for jigsaw puzzles and board games, where the explanation and understanding of the rules or instructions can aid the development of a child’s language skills.
  • We Should Learn Children
The scenario of these children with crumbling values and morals due to the corroding effect of adult ignorance on how to appropriately raise them can jeopardize this future. In this premise, the importance of studying children is put in demand as it is the only way to mend such ignorance.
  • Animal Language
Language is the primary means by which humans communicate with each other. Humans do this through verbalization – the vocal expression of words and sounds, to express thoughts and feelings to other human beings. However, there is reason to believe that language does not only exist among human beings; animals, too, have a means of communication with each other and with us human beings.

  • Historical and Cultural Places of Great Britain
It’s natural that the capital of the country, London, is the richest and world famous places. They are Westminster Abbey, the Tower of London, the Houses of Parliament, St. Paul’s Cathedral, and Trafalgar Square with the monument to Admiral Nelson in its center and many others.
  • The Nature Of Love
Most people that have experienced these emotions have wondered what has led them to “fall in love.” There is not a specific answer to this question, however, but various explanations, ranging from chemical to psychological to philosophical fields, which have been proposed about the origins of these romantic emotions. While each of the answers contains a significant amount of truth, none of these solutions, however, is mutually exclusive because each theory contains a problem that prevents it from being the only answer.
Some scientists suggest that we “fall in love” because the chemicals within our body behave in a certain way when prompted by the stimulus of a sexually attractive mate. The biological answer explains why people experience intense romantic emotions, but the theory fails, however, to explain why humans continue to “stay in love” and exactly what conditions prompts people to “fall in love.”
  • Is there a God?
There is a great variety of different believes and religions in the world which only prove that in such a numerous quantity of opinions there can not be found absolutely true or right theory. Through the comparison and contrast of Buddha and Jesus as religious teachers, distinct similarities and differences can be found. Jesus Christ the founder of Christianity was the Son of The Father, God. While the founder of Buddhism, Siddhartha Gautama was though a prince - a normal human being, who achieved enlightenment through meditation and was later referred to as The Buddha (The Awakened). The religions which resulted from the teachings of Buddha and Jesus are noticeably contrasting when compared.
  • Religion in the United States
In the most western societies, modernization has been accompanied by a marked decline in religiousness. America in contrast, has remained unusually religious.
  • Old Testament: Deuteronomy History
The Jews who are known for their strict obeying the Law Code (recognized as Torah). But it was not mentioned for 600 years, since Moses put it in to the arc (Deut.31:25,26)! God said to Joshua (came after Moses) to keep the law Moses’ given and to obey all the law do not turn from right or the left (Joshua 1:6). Time passes. Josiah, the son of king Amon (2Kings21:23,26; 2Chron.33:25), is now the king. Once he sends his secretary to Hilkiah, the high priest, in his own purposes. But Josiah’s secretary returns with the Book of the Law found by Hilkiah in the temple of the Lord (2Kings 22:3-8).
  • Birth Account in Matthew and Luke
The book of Matthew begins with Jesus’ lineage. Maybe it was unnecessary, but I compared Jesus’ lineage in Matthew with chronicles in the Old Testament (1Chronicles 1-3). I just wanted to ensure the reliability of Matthew. I must admit that the family tree is from Abraham till Joseph, Jesus father. So, the first difference in Matthew 1:8, it is told “Jehoram the father of Uzziah” and in 1Chronicles 3:11 Jehoram had a son, Ahaziah. Than in Matthew 1:9 Uzziah had a son Jotham and in Old Testament (1Chr3:11,12) Ahaziah-Joash- Amaziah- Azariah- Jotham. We can see that three generations are lost. Look further - “…Josiah the father of Jeconiah…” (Mt1:11) and Josiah – Jehoiakim, Jehoiachin (a variant of Jeconiah) his son (1Chr 3:15,16). Also in 2Kings24:6 we have the confirmation, that Jeconiah was Jehoiakim’s son, not Josiah’s one. And in Matthew1:12 it’s told that Shealtiel was Zerubbabel’s father but in 1Chronicles3:17-19 it’s told that Shealtiel had a brother, Pedaiah and Pedaiah had a son, Zerubbabel. And here we have an interesting thing – in xEzra5:2 we read that Zerubbabel was Shealtiel’s son (the Matthew version). But further I’m lost, because there are no names named in Matthew in the Old Testament. So that is what we have with lineage in Matthew.
  • Eternal life in John and Luke
While reading the book of John the first mention about eternal life we have in John 3:14-21. It is told that “everyone who believes in him [Jesus] may have eternal life”. Another words, we will get eternal life if we believe in Jesus.
Jesus talks about belief. In order to get eternal life we must believe. There is an interesting thing – who believes in Jesus believes not only in Jesus but in the one who sent Jesus, in God (John5:24, 12:44-50). Jesus emphasizes that if we believe in him we believe in God. There is no other way to believe in God without believing in Jesus and on the contrary. There are many statements in the gospel of John where Jesus teaches this (John3:36, 6:40, 47, 8:12, 12:44).
  • Old Testament; J-author of Pentateuch
Anyway if we follow the advice there’ll still be some black spots. For example, the mess with God’s name or often seen doublets. Just remember revealing to Abraham and naming himself as Yahweh (Gen.13:4) and the same story with Moses in Exodus; or repeating entering the arc by Noah. There are a lot of such doublets in Old Testament particularly in first five books. And probably the thesis that Pentateuch is not Moses’ work but the collection of four-author’s one has the right to exist. Among Redactor, Priestly source, Elohist author and Jehwist author (J-author), the last one is the most human, creative one. And whether you’ve read the Bible from the beginning till the end or not, you surely know the most first stories of OT, where the significant part is created by J-author.
  • Old Testament: Times of Moses and Aaron
The stories due to the theme of traveling (mainly books of Exodus and Numbers) were written by known to us J-, E-, P-, R- authors. We’ll make an accent on Elohist (E) and Pristley (P) authors. In particular those authors sown the confusion in relations between Moses, Aaron and roles of Moses and Aaron made by God. You see, E- and P- authors have the specific point of view concerning the importance of Moses and Aaron in Jewish nation. And just those differences in views create confusion in comprehending OT- stories.
  • Bible Contradictions
First thing that we notice is that God is being called different names: Jehovah and Elohim, That’s where the idea of different sources of writings comes from. (The “J”, “E” and “P” sources)
  • Bible History
So as we already know the DH2 was written after the fall of Jerusalem approximately between 586 and 400 BCE. At that hard time the author tried to change the focus of DH1 so that people could understand the all events that happened correctly and continue to believe in God. So the first thin he did in DH2 – he removed all references to Davidic covenant. Now we have the covenant with Moses that supersedes all covenants. The Solomonic covenant is changed. Author puts foreshadow in DH1 as if he wants to say, “
  • Deuteronomy
The reason is that among many kings (Assa, Jehoshphat, Jeroboam, Manasseh, Josiah etc) that where described in 1 Kings 11- 2 Kings 23:25 Josiah is considered to be the best king. We also can see that king Josiah was a very important to the author. In 2 Kings we have 2 chapters that are devoted to Josiah, there where no king before who deserved so much attention to himself.
  • Are Polls Effective?
It is an expression of the people, for the people and says a great deal about the freedom they enjoy. The verdict of the people reaches the government or to various organizations, through opinion polls and surveys conducted in the different regions of the country. In a democratic set up people themselves are the caretakers of the socio--political framework, but most importantly they are the decision makers. These decisions are of paramount importance, as they affect the lives of people directly. Theoretically, that means people are responsible for themselves and the opinion of responsible citizens is of great value to a democratic society. An individual’s primary priorities lie with his own interests and the decision he makes are based on those interests.
To make some important decisions, there has to be some sort of mechanism used to know what people think, how they feel about a particular policy or decision. Here opinion polls come into the picture. These polls can be quite effective but their potential and accuracy depends on various factors, which we will come to later. So it is easy to know what majority of people think through opinion polls. Similarly conducting surveys can also enlighten many organizations and companies about the products people use, want to use or may be even dislike. Conducting a survey is also fairly easy. It could be either over the telephone or the internet.

  • The Theory Of Globalization And Its Analysis
There has been considerable academic debate concerning the emergence and meaning of globalisation with differing views ranging from those who believe that there has been no change to what already existed with previous trade and movement across nation stat to hyper-globalisationists who believe that the consequences of globalisation can be felt everywhere and that the sovereignty of nation states has been greatly diminished. However both of these views define globalisation in economic terms alone.
  • American Democracy
Abraham Lincoln, one of the best-loved and most respected of America’s presidents, said that the United States had a government “of the people, by the people, and for the people.” No one has formulated a better way the ideals of the American political system as Americans understand it. The Constitution, laws and traditions of the United States give the people the right to determine who will be the leader of their nation, who will make the laws and what the laws will be. The people have the power to change the system. The Constitution guarantees individual freedom to all.
  • American Indians
Because Indians lived in scattered groups and had little contact with each other, they developed different cultures. They spoke over 1000 different languages, wore different types of clothes and made their living in different ways. Indians who settled in northern areas hunted and fished. Those who settled in the east and southwest farmed. Despite their many differences, most Indians shared the belief that people should live in harmony with nature. They believed that people should not own land because the land, like the air, stars and water, belonged to everyone.
  • History of the USA
Some of the early British colonists had come to the New World in hopes of enriching themselves; other came because Britain forced them to leave – they were troublemakers or people who could not pay their debts. Some came because of the opportunity, which did not exist for them in Europe, to own land or practice a trade.
  • US Participation In Treaty Of Versailles
President George W. Bush, despite continuing opposition from his own people, has placed his country at the unenviable point of no-return. Interestingly, what is happening in America today seems to be an echo of the events of 1918 when another president had to face resistance to the forceful stance he wanted his country to adopt in the aftermath of World War 1.
  • Political Parties
Today, the United States has two major political parties. One is the Democratic Party, which evolved out of Thomas Jefferson’s party, formed before 1800. The other is the Republican Party, which was formed in the 1850s, mostly by people in the states of the North and West who wanted the government to prevent the expansion of slavery into new states.
  • American Ideals and Values
    Freedom
American’s understanding of freedom is that all people are equal and that the role of government is to protect each person’s basic rights. Yet this ideal has not always corresponded to reality. Reality demonstrates that some social groups and individuals are not as others. Because of religious, racial, sex, or age discrimination some Americans have not enjoyed the same rights and opportunities as others.
  • School Education
This is also the case in The Children’s Act of 1989 as part of the welfare checklist to take into account “the child’s physical, emotional and educational needs”.
  • Adult learning Theory
The continuous change in what employees need to know and be able to handle suggests that learning, training and education will occur over the length of a career and, in fact, a lifetime. In light of this, adults have had to become life-long learners by consistently challenging themselves to pursue learning opportunities.
