The Schuyler mansion is an English style estate that was built in 1762. It served as a military outpost during the war. it welcomed such notable people as Geore Washington, Benedict Arnold and Alexander Hamilton. While it is a good example of pre war architectural design, it's main significance is how it has been used in the past. No history buff should go to Albany without visiting it. In the basement of the center you will find an exhibit that explains the history of the pueblos. In this exhibit children can learn about the evolution of the pueblo culture through the use of hands on displays and art. The National Atomic Museum, soon to be called the National Museum of Nuclear Science and History, is a museum of nuclear science and history that is the only museum of its kind chartered by Congress. It does this by taking you through a number of different exhibits. Instead of visiting a mindless tourist attraction, why not visit an attraction where you can actually learn something. If this sounds like something that you would be interested in , you should read on. The Ann Arbor Hands On Museum has over 250 exhibits to both educate and entertain you. The exhibits are too numerous to list but I will name just a few. One exhibit is the Lights and Optics Gallery. In this exhibit visitors can explore the world of light including shadows, colors and even lasers. through the use of hands on displays. Another exhibit is Waste to Watts. Here visitors can learn how new technology will allow us to turn waste into usable energy. Learn how methane gas can be pulled from landfills which will reduce our dependence on other fuel sources. In addition to these exhibits there are countless others which are designed to teach you about a wide range of topics from math to nature to physics. Ann Arbor Attractions - Gerald R. Ford Library There are many things for both tourists and residents to do while in Ann Arbor, Michigan. The city is home to a number of popular entertainment, sports and educational venues. One attraction that might get overlooked is the Gerald R. Ford Library. It might not seem like an exciting place to visit but it is a must see for history buffs. Ground was broken on the museum on January 15, 1979 and it was opened to the public on April 27, 1981 . The museum has over 23 million pages of documents, over 300,000 photos and over 6000 hours of audio and video information. This combines to make it an incredible resource on the Ford era. If you are a history buff you should be sure to pay it a visit. Ann Arbor Attractions - Nichols Arboretum Are you heading to Ann Arbor or do you live in the city and need something to do? If you have some time to kill and love to be around nature you are in luck. You can visit the Nichols Arboretum. Its a great way to spend the day or just an hour or two when you are in Ann Arbor. The park was built in a run down part of town entirely from public donations. It is a must see site in Atlanta so if you have some extra time to spend check it out. If you like music, try to visit the park at noon on Tuesday or Thursday between April and September. Between noon and 1PM on those days you will find live music. Local artists will be performing music ranging from reggae to R&B to jazz. You can either bring your lunch and enjoy the music or you can purchase your lunch from a variety of different vendors. Atlanta Attractions - Fox Theatre Atlanta is home to numerous interesting and historical attractions. It is quite an interesting place with a vast amount of culture. One destination that stands out is the Fox Theatre. The Fox Theatre has been a popular tourist destination for years. Keep reading and learn a little bit about the history of the theatre and what makes it such a special destination. The Fox Theatre was originally designed to be a Shriners' temple but the Shriners budget fell short of what was required and they sold it to William Fox in 1927. Mr. Fox turned the temple into an incredible theatre which opened its doors in 1929. The building was a masterpiece and included such architectural features as Onion domes and minarets. Features which make it stand out from the surrounding buildings and homes. When you entered the theatre you were greeted by a 140 foot entrance arcade which led to a grand lobby complete with gold fish pools and an imported marble kiosk which was the ticket booth. The theatres designers spared no expense in its design. The theatre soon fell on hard times however because of the Great Depression and would be forced to close its doors in only 3 short years. Since that time it has gone through several different stages. It has been used as an opera house, for concerts and even had a large screen and stereo system installed in the 50s. The outlook for the theater was bleak until a group of citizens raised almost 2 million dollars to save the theater from demolition in 1978. Since then it has been lovingly restored to its former opulence and hosts everything from Broadway shows to comedy acts. It is truly a wonderful place that you should visit. Atlanta Attractions - Georgia Aquarium There are many great things to do in the city of Atlanta. One of the best and most popular attractions is the Georgia Aquarium. So what makes it so special. The Georgia Aquarium is the worlds largest aquarium. It has over 8 million gallons of fresh and salt water and over 10,000 marine animals. The list of animals is extensive with over 500 different species. Among those are whale sharks, sea turtles, piranha and more. The different species are divided into many sections. You have a coldwater section with cold habitat species. You have a Georgia section with a variety of local animals. There is also an ocean section with some of the larger species of marine life. A river section with marine life from such areas as the Amazon and also a tropical marine life section. Atlanta Attractions - High Museum Of Art If you have some time to kill in Atlanta there is no better way to spend it than by taking a trip to a museum. Why not go somewhere where you can have fun and learn something at the same time. If you are interested in going to a museum you should check out the High Museum of Art. Warm oil will drain better but hot oil can be dangerous. Now position the drain pan underneath the oil pans drain plug.
