  • Cbt And Aviation Training
The growth and maturity of CBT industry has been closely associated with computer based simulation for pilot training in aviation industry. Aviation CBT continues to demonstrate the new technology advance in CBT design and implementation though CBT is now widely adopted in education and corporate training. The Aviation Industry Computer-Based Training Committee (AICC) oversees and develops guidelines for aviation CBT in the design, development, delivery of training programs.

Although many aviation training schools use CBT, they actually are starting to add it into the actual flying. Pilots have to fly a simulated airplane in order to grasp the important maneuvers before going into the air. With CBT in every school, pilots do not have to feel anxious about what they have learned. By practicing and seeing results just through this type of aviation training, chances are they will succeed at a faster rate!
  • Online Education: A Brief History
When the educational process takes place in an environment other than a live classroom, it is known as distance education. The idea of distance education can be traced by to the advent of the printing press. From the very earliest days of printing, it became possible to develop a learning method whereby the student learned at his own pace and without the aid of an instructor. The self help manual is one of the earliest examples of distance learning.

As each new technological advance was made, the possibilities of its adaptation for distance learning were explored. When radios came into common use, the possibilities of giving instruction via this medium were investigated. Television was a major advance that was used in distance training. The development of closed circuit television networks made it possible for classrooms to be spread out over great distances with the instructor in one location, and the students in another. The drawback to this method was that it still required the student to be actually present at the time the class was being held. It did not free him of that restraint.
  • Practical Tips For Earning A Degree Online
Much has been written about the difference between earning a degree online and earning it at a traditional on campus type of institution. The major advantages of the online method include a lower cost and the ability to work around your own schedule at your own pace. The major advantages of the traditional method include the social environment of the campus and the hands on help of qualified instructors. Cost is often an important consideration in the decision to pursue distance learning. There is another factor that should play an equally important role in the decision making process. This is your own personal learning style. Some people thrive with independent learning while others need to personal help of an instructor to maximize their learning success.

Once you have made the decision in favor of online learning, there are some practical tips that can help you along the way. The most important thing is to realize that just because you have opted for distance learning does not mean that you have taken the easy way. A great deal of self discipline is going to be required, and your course of study is going to take every bit as much work and effort as your fellow student in the dorm on campus. In fact, you might expect to work a bit harder. Degree programs online are still dealing with a bit of old fashioned and traditional attitudes from educators and employers. The online degree colleges have responded to this by insuring their standards are higher than those of most on campus schools.
  • A Brief History Of E-learning And Distance Education
E-learning is a very broad term. It is used to describe any type of learning environment that is computer enhanced. There are multiple technologies that can be employed in E-learning. It has become one of those types of words that are so general as to have lost some of its meaning. Distance learning is something that has evolved from Elearning. It is used to describe a learning environment that takes place away from the actual traditional classroom and campus.

E-learning began at just about the same time that a computer was developed that was practical for personal use. In fact, the concept and practice of distance learning predates the computer area by almost 100 years. In England, in 1840, shorthand classes were being offered by correspondence courses through the mail. The improvements to the postal service made this method of distance learning popular in the early part of the last century. This led to a large number of “through the mail” type of educational programs. The computer only made distance learning easy and better. Television, video recorders, and even radio have all made a contribution to distance learning.
  • Future Trends Of E-learning
he future of E-learning is very bright, indeed. This concept has been expanding at a very rapid rate as more and more uses for the computer in education have been discovered and attempted. On the traditional college campus, there is a trend toward the development of a Virtual Learning Environment (VLE). The VLE concept integrates the full range of electronic enhancements into the classroom setting. Under the VLE idea, the instructor is not replaced by the computer but rather uses the computer to reach more students and to reach them more effectively.

Distance education is becoming more popular as more and more households obtain personal computers. Many schools have developed the idea of the virtual classroom to a high degree. One instructor located at a central location and using video equipment can teach simultaneous classes in several satellite locations. There is no limit to the distance these satellite locations can be from the instructor. Computer based training can be done in much the same way. Such things as emails and chat rooms are being used as part of the E-learning arsenal.
  • Riddles And Children's Iq Development
Although the history of riddles comes from ancient times, it was not until the 19th century when researchers began to analyze different theories in children's IQ cognitive development.

In the 1800s, there was no established method for studying human sciences other that empirical knowledge. Riddles and trivia were not institutional methods for testing scholars or determine human nature or measure their intellectual functions.
